IBH Addiction Recovery's Men's Recovery House provides residents with a living environment centered on peer support and connection to services that promote sustained recovery. Recovery housing allows clients to step down to a lower level of care and still receive treatment through outpatient programs. One of the challenges many clients face once they complete treatment is finding work. As part of the Men's Recovery House outpatient program, peers work with residents to develop an individual recovery plan that includes preparation for reentering the job market.
Tyler Conley is an example of how this approach to drug and alcohol treatment can work. A former Men's Recovery House resident, Tyler was recently named 2022 Associate of the Year at NOVO, where he has worked for the past year.
"Tyler is a great worker. He is always willing to help and does an excellent job on the tasks he is given," said the two fellow NOVO employees who nominated Tyler. "Tyler is extremely polite, courteous, and always has a smile on his face."
As an employee at NOVO Health Services Ravenna facility, Tyler works in the company’s utility department. His Employee of the Year accommodation stated: "Congratulations, Tyler, on this honor. Thank you for your dedication to the NOVO family. Your ambition and work ethic are an inspiration to us all. We truly appreciate everything that you do for our team!"
The path of Tyler’s recovery includes IBH Addiction Residential Treatment and Outpatient Treatment. He also participated in the Summit County Court’s Turning Point Program.
IBH Addiction Recovery commends Tyler on this honor and thanks him for setting an excellent example for his peers.
